Half brick puts 260W over Ethernet
The HHS05Z55 is a 260W DC/DC half-brick convertor designed for power-over-Ethernet power sourcing equipment and next-generation IP telephony applications.

The HHS05Z55 is a 260W DC/DC half-brick convertor designed for power-over-Ethernet (PoE) power sourcing equipment and next-generation IP telephony applications. The HHS05Z55 operates over a wide input range, 36 to 75V DC, to provide a tightly-regulated 53.7V C 4.85A output, at efficiencies up to 93%. The HHS05Z55 integrates internal noise-filtering, an input-to-output isolation of 2250V DC, and basic safety insulation rating to facilitate system compliance to the stringent requirements of IEEE802.3af.
In addition to interface capabilities of remote on/off, remote sense, and output trim, protection features provided are output overvoltage and overcurrent, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature.
Regulatory agency approvals include UL60950-3rd/CSA C22.2 60950-00, TUV EN60950:2001, and IEC60950-1:2001.
This power-dense product measures 61.0 x 57.9 x 10.67mm.
