Display market upturn
brings record year
Display Solutions has accelerated its drive to become one of UK's leading display technology providers after a record year that saw 250% growth in business
In 2003 Display Solutions increased its range of services for organisations that need to source electronic information and touch screen displays plus embedded and industrial computing solutions from an expert supplier. By strengthening its network of manufacturing and design partners in the Far East the company reckons it can now supply components to customers up to 50% faster than industry standards.
Building on its core business as a distributor of information display systems and electronic components, Display Solutions has extended its portfolio to provide outsourced design and manufacturing, technical consultancy and project management.
The company has since seen increased demand for its turnkey monitors and terminals tailor made for use across a range of applications in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, logistics and the public sector.
Cheng Yoe, Managing Director of Display Solutions said: "By 2006 the value of the global display market is expected to increase to over $85 billion and Display Solutions is ideally positioned to take advantage of this growth.
The display market is experiencing significant upturn across the board and in particular for touch screen applications.
One of our major strengths is our ability to deliver a fast turnaround to bring the latest technologies into the UK and get them up and running in different markets.
Core to this are the excellent commercial links we have established with partners in the Far East - the heart of the display and computer manufacturing market.
We are delighted with progress made in 2003 and look forward to building on our winning formula".
