The latest addition to the Analog Devices PulSAR family of SAR ADCs is the industry's first multichannel simultaneous-sampling 16bit SAR ADC achieving sampling rates to 500Ksample/s while guaranteeing true 16bit resolution with no missing codes. The AD7654 is the fastest, most accurate simultaneous-sampling ADC available in the market and is especially well suited for motor control and three-phase power supply monitoring.
The AD7654 is a high-speed 16bit sampling ADC that contains two low-noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifiers that allow simultaneous sampling, an internal conversion clock, and both serial and parallel interface ports.
Each track and hold amplifier has a two-channel multiplexer in front to provide a four-channel ADC.
The AD7654 also features two sampling speeds, 500Ksample/s in Warp mode and an Impulse mode of 444Ksample/s for lower power dissipation.
Other features include: +/-3.5LSB INL, 89dB SNR at 100kHz, and a 0 to 5V analogue input range.
Samples are available now in 48-lead LQFP and LFCSP packages.
The AD7654 is priced at $15.42 per unit in 1000-piece quantities.
