An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release LCD display modules for gauges and meters from Saelig, which we summarised at the time by saying "Saelig has announced the availability of uLCD-32PT, a 3.2in QVGA TFT with 65K LCD TFT display with integrated touch screen and smart graphics processor for industrial control and robotics.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release MSC Vertriebs offers Renesas RX600 MCUs from MSC Vertriebs: "MSC Vertriebs is offering products from the RX600 series of 32-bit microcontrollers from Renesas: the RX360 group for consumer and office automation; and the RX63N/RX631 group for networked equipment.".

In November 2010, we covered the news from Microchip Technology - take a look at Real-time clock/calendars for car radios which says: "Microchip Technology has announced the MCP794XX range, six real-time clock/calendars (RTCCs) suitable for use in consumer electronics such as car radios and home appliances, including microwaves.".

Take a look also at the news release from Renesas Technology, MCU devices facilitate IO-Link functionality, as well as Industrial control MCUs have floating point unit from Atmel, and LPC4000 enables DSP/MCU application development from NXP Semiconductors.
