An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Hamamatsu sensor suits high-volume applications from Hamamatsu Photonics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hamamatsu Photonics is offering a new photo IC - the S11067-01CT angle sensor - suitable for applications such as automotive steering angle sensors and tilt detectors in digital cameras. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Intersil releases JFET-input operational amplifier from Intersil: "Intersil has introduced a JFET-input operational amplifier for process control analogue input/output, gas or fluid flow sensors and biometric high-impedance buffers for medical instrumentation.".

In September 2010, we covered the news from Hamamatsu Photonics - take a look at MPPC module ideal for medical diagnostic equipment which says: "Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced the C11208 MPPC module, which is ideal for evaluation on the MPPC and research in fields including high-energy physics, DNA sequencing and fluorescent measurement.".

Take a look also at the news release from Hamamatsu Photonics, Hamamatsu offers CMOS linear image sensors , as well as Bridge100 develops optical data communication from Achronix Semiconductor, and Toshiba photorelays target switching applications from Toshiba Electronics.
