?Mobile Devices?

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Mod5 Flip-Top Socket for 0.5mm-pitch BGA devices from Advanced Interconnections, which we summarised at the time by saying "The Mod5 Flip-Top BGA Socket provides a compact, surface-mount test solution for micro-BGA chipsets used in applications such as handheld, mobile and wireless product development. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Wireless transceivers selected for RF remote from Nordic Semiconductor: "Philips Home Control has selected wireless technology from Nordic Semiconductor for use in its Bellagio RF remote control for consumer electronics (CE) manufacturers.".

In May 2010, we covered the news from Diodes Incorporated - take a look at Current monitors suit power supply applications which says: "Diodes Incorporated has introduced a family of six high-reliability current monitors for 40V and 60V operation, designed for power supply, automotive load dump and SELV circuit applications.".

Take a look also at the news release from Green Hills Software, Green Hills software supports Octeon II processors, as well as Congatec expands Congatec-AG COM Express range from Congatec, and Connector meets need for faster storage speeds from ITT Interconnect Solutions.
